Day 1 – A Customizable Planner
A beautifully designed planner that is customized for homeschooling can be a lifesaver for organizing lesson plans, tracking household schedules, and coordinating all of the activities in your life. Look for one that allows ample space to to jot down ideas, track progress, and keep everything in one place like the Ultimate Home & School Planner.
Day 2 – Subscription Services or Memberships
Wish yourself a Merry Christmas with a fun gift that is perhaps a bit of a splurge. I’m talking about enrolling in a homeschool membership, purchasing a new app, signing up for an online course, or even an Audible membership that you can start using during winter break.
Day 3 – Relaxation & Self-Care Items
Homeschooling & teaching can be demanding, and we moms often put our needs last. Treat yourself to a self-care package containing favorite items like soothingย bath salts, candles orย essential oils,ย a cozy blanket, andย a journalย for relaxation and reflection. Or, go big and grab a gift certificate to your favorite salon or spa.
Day 4 – Personalized Jewelry or Keepsake
Personalized items are always a great gift for moms but perhaps have someone place the order for personalized jewelry or a keepsake item for you. We know you will love it mama because these gifts serve as a heartfelt reminder of your kids and this season of motherhood.
Day 5 – A New Reading Chair
Ok, you know you love gathering up your kiddos for read alouds and Christmas books, but with this super comfy reading chair, you just make read even more! The best gifts are the ones that will be used over and over again, and I know this one would be well-loved in my home and I’m pretty confident you will say the same.
Day 6 – Inspirational Books or Educational Reading Material
The good news is you can ask for a good book for yourself this Christmas season and I don’t know about you, but I love books that help me homeschool better! These support books help me homeschool better and always encourage me to keep going. I’m pretty confident that you will say the same of some of my personal favorites including Homeschool Bravely and The Complete Beginner’s Guide to Homeschooling.

Day 7 – Online Workshop or Course
Some of the best teacher gifts are the ones that a teacher wouldn’t normally buy on their own – including online workshops and courses! Whether these are homeschool-related or not these wish-list items make a fun idea for Christmas. Support yourself by investing in yourself.
Day 8 – Art and Craft Supplies
This time of year is one of the best to stock up on arts & crafts supplies, DIY kits, or crafting materials that can be used to add hands-on experiences to the school year.
Day 9 – Gift Cards for Supplies or Books
A gift card to a bookstore, educational supplies store, or her favorite retailer can be incredibly useful for purchasing teaching materials, books, or resources for your family’s homeschooling journey.
Day 10 – A Subscription Box for Mom
You know there’s a subscription box you’ve been eyeing that is tailored to your interests! Whether it’s a monthly book club, a gourmet snacks box, wellness products, or a crafting box, subscription boxes make an excellent Christmas gift.
Day 11- Customized Homeschool Mom Items
Whether that’s a homeschool tote, homeschool mom t-shirt, tumblers or coffee mugs – it doesn’t matter! You know your favorite homeschool teacher mom loves gifts that show off just how much they love homeschooling.
Day 12 – Thoughtful Handwritten Letter or Message
Wrap up the 12 days of Christmas gifts with a meaningful and heartfelt gift idea by taking the time to write handwritten notes and messages.

โDon’t Forget Your Child’s Other Favorite Teacher
Whether you participate in a co-op or sports group, have a tutor, pay for musical training, enroll your child in a club… the list goes on and on… don’t forget the other teachers in your child’s life at Christmas time. Many times these activities are run by volunteers and they put in a lot of hard work to help you give your child a well-rounded education. Even if it’s just a little treat box filled with homemade goodies and a note, I know they will appreciate it!
Need Additional Gift Ideas For Teachers?
โSometimes the best part of a holiday gift is finding the right one. A thoughtful gift is always so meaningful to the recipient and your local craft store is always a great place to find unique ways to show a little holiday cheer. Or perhaps a family member can make a custom travel mug. If you know they love sweet treats bake some homemade goodies or pick up a box of chocolate.
โI hope this post has helped you as you search for the perfect teacher gift idea! I know that putting this list together has been so much fun for me… I’ve even added a few of these items to my wish list.
Have a wonderful holiday season, my friend, and Merry Christmas!
