Family

Hey there, my friend!

Family. It’s the most important bond you will make, this side of heaven. It’s the people in our lives that take up our day, consume our thoughts, and demand our time.

And yet, for moms, especially homeschool moms, it’s more than up in the morning and out the door. It’s more than checking homework in the evening and running baths before bed.

It’s a front-row seat to the journey that is childhood and a life that is devoted to doing what we can to bridge the gap, defend childhood, and give our family something better.

No, homeschooling doesn’t make your family perfect. No, it won’t prevent life from getting messy and family from sometimes being challenging.

But… it gives you more. More time. More opportunity. More say over your family, the influences, and the memories.

Thank you for inviting me into your family and for allowing me to be a part of it.

About Me

Are you wondering just who is behind this page?

Well, my name is Kelly and I am a homeschooling Mama just training to raise her family. I live up in the beautiful state of Maine where I often complain about the long, cold winters, and super short summers. 😉

My family consists of my husband of more than 20 years, our four children, and five pets! We are busy, chaotic, and fun-loving, and like you, trying to simply manage a busy home, keep our kids on the straight and narrow, and create more positive memories than negative ones. We love laughing, family movie nights, and random fires under the summer night sky.

And we are going to continue forgiving forward as we work to raise our children, hurting them, training them, and shaping them for their future.
