Online Spanish Course for Homeschool Families from Vista Academy
With Vista Academy’s online Spanish course for homeschool families, we are able to access immersion-style learning that will have my children prepared for wherever life takes them.
I don’t know about you, but even though I did wade through the lessons of high school Spanish during my own high school years, I don’t actually recall a whole lot of it.
Sure, there are a few things, like how to properly conjugate ‘ser’ and the difference between ‘el’ and ‘la’ but the reality is that most of it is long gone and just a distant memory.
However, with two homeschool students in high school, and most colleges looking for at least 2 years of a foreign language, this is one area I need to make sure my kids are prepared in.
Luckily, we have found a great online Spanish course for homeschool families that is ready to prepare them for whatever their future holds. ยกHurra!

I was compensated for my time writing this post and was provided a copy of the product at no charge for the purpose of writing a fair and honest review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Choosing A High School Foreign Language
While only one of my two high school students is currently contemplating college, I do feel that it is important that we prepare them both for college acceptance.
Not that we are pushing college, but I don’t want a simple thing like missing a foreign language to prevent admission if that choice opens up later in life.
But there is more to it than simply getting into college.

Learning a foreign language is a vital skill that can assist you in the workplace, in the military, or overseas on mission trips. It also boosts creativity, can help increase confidence, and aids in critical thinking skills.
In fact, if you can, start working on the addition of a foreign language well before the high school years so your child can have longer to reap the benefits. ๐

Online Spanish Course For High School
We have been working through Vista Academyโs inaugural fall 2021 Spanish courses for homeschooling students. This cutting-edge program is used by nearly 2 million students and in more than 6,000 educational centers worldwide.

With native speaker oversight and instruction, this immersion-based learning format is both engaging and flexible. Offering two different pathways, Ole and Bravo, parents and students can choose which learning track works best for them both in terms of what is offered as well as price point.
The program contains 6 modules, all covering both vocabulary and grammar, so my students will be learning proper word choice, pronunciation, verb conjugation, and sentence structure taught through a mix of audio and video, and checked via submitted recorded assignments. (You will need a microphone to submit assignments for this course.)

With the Vista Academy online Spanish course, we can easily see progress, due dates, and assignments yet to be completed. This is great for keeping high school students on track and assisting them in learning to navigate this program.
Oh, and I can be as hands-off as I want to be because this course is all laid out by Vista Academy.
