Homeschool 101: Don’t Panic, You’ve Got This!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or wondering if you can really do this… take a deep breath, friend—you’re not alone.

I’ve been there, and now, I’m going to help you.

I’ve got you.

Starting your homeschool journey can feel a bit… heavy.

There are decisions to make, curriculum to choose, schedules to figure out—and it’s easy to wonder if you’re doing it “right.”

But here’s the truth, friend:

👉 You don’t have to have everything figured out to get started.
👉 You don’t have to do this perfectly.
👉 And you are more capable than you think.

Homeschooling doesn’t have to be complicated—it can look like this. Let me show you how!

Let’s simplify this.

In case you need a refresher, here are the 5 simple steps we talked about in the session:

✅ 1. Know Your “Why”

Your reason for homeschooling matters more than any curriculum you choose.

✅ 2. Understand the Legal Requirements

Before you begin, make sure you understand what’s required.

✅ 3. Make Simple Curriculum Choices

You don’t need the “perfect” schedule, routine, or curriculum to get started—just something that works for your family right now.

✅ 4. Create A Simple Rhythm

You don’t have to recreate school at home. Focus on consistency over perfection. This is where having a simple planner or structure can really help.

✅ 5. Find Community

In person and online, you need people in your corner who can help.
